The Argenti Museum located on two floors of the “Palazzo”, the ground floor, and part of the first floor, these rooms were the summer residence of the Medici. In these rooms you will find different objects from: vases, ivory, gemstones, cameo, jewels, crystals and many more that were part of the “Granduchi” collection, and his successors to follow were “Lorenzo il Magnifico” (Lawrence the magnificent) , Cosimo I, Francesco I, Mattias, Anna Maria Luisa de’ Medici. The Argenti collection from the Salzburg treasure and a section for the XVIII century jewels which were donated to the museum. With same ticket you can visit the costume and porcelain museum. |
